Should I Go to College or Launch a Startup? Lessons Learned

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The value of a college education has been challenged significantly by entrepreneurs, particularly among the most famous: Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, to name a few. Yet the majority will maintain that there is still great value and stability in pursuing higher ed compared to the high-risk, high-reward path of the dropout co-founder.

This panel features several speakers who have made the big leap to leave the ivory tower and start their own company. What did they learn that they could not have learned in school? Was leaving worth the risk? Would staying in school have even helped their ability to succeed as entrepreneurs.
