Are you looking to get into Seattle’s rapidly growing IT job market? TechHire is a White House initiative that the Seattle region is working together on to train and place up to 2,000 people in tech jobs by 2020.

Come to this event to connect with local employers that are hiring and training providers that can help get you the technical skills you need for your next interview!

What is TechHire…
TechHire is a bold, multi-sector initiative and call to action to empower Americans with the skills they need. Universities, community colleges, and nontraditional training providers, like “coding boot camps,” can rapidly train workers for well-paying, open jobs, often in just a few months. Through the collaboration of employers, training providers, and workforce and economic development organizations, TechHire communities have been using data and innovative hiring practices to expand non-traditional hirings, building accelerated training programs that prepare individuals in months instead of years, and connecting people to jobs with hiring on-ramp programs.
