Mikaela is a native Seattleite who’s spent the last fifteen years in HR leadership roles at Seattle based companies including Microsoft, Amazon, PopCap Games and Redfin. In 2015 she founded uniquelyHR, no nonsense HR for startups. Mikaela enjoys being creative and solving problems in a space leaders love to hate. She is an ICF credentialed coach working with executives and high potential women leaders. Mikaela loves to cook, read fiction, and take long walks.

Jason joined Maveron in 2007 and is now a partner focused on investing in education, e-commerce and web-enabled consumer businesses. He is involved with the firm's investments in General Assembly, Common, TrueFacet, Julep, Everlane, CourseHero, Dolls Kill and Dolly.  Prior to joining Maveron, Jason served as senior director of strategic operations for Career Education Corp., where he co-founded and led admissions and marketing for IADT Online, a for-profit design school. He has also served as an associate at Spinnaker Ventures, an expansion-stage venture capital fund.  Jason graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in economics from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jennifer Daquiz Hare is an Executive Director in Middle Market Technology Banking in Seattle, WA. She joined JP Morgan Chase in November 2011. From 2011 – June 2015, Jennifer served as a Senior Vice President with Chase Commercial Middle Market Banking. She managed a portfolio of clients across a spectrum of industries including technology, life sciences, manufacturing, and retail with revenues between $50.0mm and $1.0 billion. Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer served as a Senior Vice President and Team Leader for U.S. Bank. She started her banking career at U.S. Bank, where she held various positions within the Corporate Bank including managing a portfolio of media and telecommunications companies that varied in size from start-up enterprises to public global corporations. Collectively, she spent 13 years with U.S. Bank. Jennifer’s banking career also includes four years at KeyBank Capital Markets where she represented both the corporate and investment banking operations of the Key platform.

Jennifer’s technology industry experience includes serving in product management and corporate development positions at Microsoft and AT&T Wireless. From 2002 - 2004, she held a strategic partner management role with Microsoft. In that capacity, Jennifer fostered the growth of a marquee relationship into a multi-billion dollar partnership. She also brings M&A and corporate finance experience having assisted AT&T Wireless in
executing its GSM strategy in the early 2000’s.

Hunter Nadler is a Vice President in the Middle Market Technology Banking group based in Boston, MA. He joined J.P Morgan in November of 2015.Hunter is leading the Emerging Technology initiative which is focused onengaging and developing relationships with smaller high potential companies who can grow and scale on the Firm’s banking platform. Prior to his current role at J.P. Morgan, Hunter spent 6 years at Silicon Valley Bank. Most recently, as the Vice President of Relationship Management for the Accelerator Banking Team in Boston, while previously holding positions on the Life Science and Asset Based Lending teams at SVB. Hunter has worked closely with a number of organizations in Boston including,MassChallenge, TechStars, MassTLC, TechHub, BOLT Boston and MIT
International MBA.
