After graduation Lee transitioned to MVP Group the Technology Partners Inc., a Seattle start up that specialized in the development of WNIA (Wireless Notification Intelligence Applications) for commercial and private sector end users. In 2013, Lee was one of five young professionals from Seattle selected by Seattle Rotary District 5030 for the 2013 Group Study Exchange Program. Over the course of six weeks, he participated in multiple business seminars, startup events and innovation forums hosted by some of Russia's largest corporations including Artezio, Magnit, Severstal and Sberbank. As Pacific Northwest Community Manager for IBM Global Entrepreneur, Lee’s primary function is to help startups achieve growth by facilitatingintroductions to resources they need in order to grow. Additionally, Lee oversees partner and member relationships with the Pacific Northwest accelerators and other startup initiatives with the goal of supporting the ecosystem. Lee’s professional network is diverse, ranging from law firms, manufacturers, commercial distribution partners, angel investors and venture capitalists. He can help with marketing, marketing strategy, social media marketing, business development, strategic partnerships, and strategic planning. He can also be of help with fundraising, pitching, investor relations and lots of general startup stuff.

Known as an accomplished leader building and growing small and emerging businesses.
She specializes in competitive analysis, market opportunity research, awareness building and lead generation, launch planning, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders, vendors, partners and clients in both corporate and non-profit companies. She has worked for Microsoft Corporation, International Data Corporation, and University of Washington’s Educational Outreach. As a consultant, she has managed events, developed and delivered demos, corporate proposals and research and recommendations.
She loves it when her personal and professional life overlaps. When she is not working, she loves to run, train for sprint triathlons, attend alternative theater, read dystopian fantasy novels. She owns too many bikes.

A network engineer by training, Yi-Jian stumbled into the startup world when AT&T rebooted its corporate venture fund and recruited him as a founding team member. Working closely with entrepreneurs and helping them build their companies turned out to be such a blast that he continued that work at Microsoft. More recently, he was a venture capitalist at Sierra Ventures, where he focused on investments in mobile and enterprise/infrastructure software & services from around the world. Yi-Jian holds an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell.
Meeka Charles

Meeka Charles is a Vice President and banker with J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Seattle. She is responsible for developing and managing relationships with affluent individuals and families throughout the Pacific Northwest. She advises clients on their banking, fiduciary, business, charitable and investment needs. Prior to her role at J.P. Morgan, she worked in corporate development and project finance at Solar Power Partners in California, a solar energy financing company. The company was acquired by NRG Energy in 2011. She continued working at NRG Energy after the acquisition and worked on several financings including the IPO of NRG Energy’s independent subsidiary, NRG Yield. Prior to these roles, she worked at J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank. She was raised and educated abroad, attending several international schools including the International School of Bangkok and Leysin American School in Switzerland. She graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College.
