Katie Chase started making music at age 11 and after music school at Oberlin Conservatory went back to school for healthcare to help her recover from serious injuries sustained in a car accident during her senior year. In 2003 started a private practice specializing in clinical bodywork for singers. Several years later she launched Advanced Educators, an online marketplace for continuing education and then earned her MBA at Bainbridge Graduate Institute, directed Creativity and Leadership at Oberlin and and for the last several years headed Startup Weekend in half of North America. This summer she walked 500 miles across Spain via the Camino de Santiago and is now back in Seattle performing, podcasting, and the Founder of WalkingKata, training and education for leaders who want to live, love and lead in 3D.
